Cyclist Alerts  site which gives updates on trail repairs.

The City of Durham has begun repairs and resurfacing on the American Tobacco
Trail, the Riddle Road Spur Trail, and a portion of the North/South Trail.
Sections of these trails will be closed as this work progresses.

Over the next few weeks, the City's contractor will repair asphalt and
resurface the American Tobacco Trail and the Riddle Road Spur Trail. The
contractor will also place stone on the shoulders of the trail. During the
duration of this project, the contractor will need to close up to two
sections of the trail at a time and plans to use two crews in order to
expedite the work. A section is considered to be a portion of trail between
two access points, such as the section between Otis and Enterprise Streets.

Restriping and replacement of mile markers will follow as soon as the
resurfacing portion of the project is complete.
