  • Avent Ferry Food Lion Shopping Center - is at the intersection of Gorman Street (I-40 Exit 295) and Avent Ferry in Raleigh, between NC State Centenniel Campus and Lake Johnson. Lunch break at Brightleaf Square, Durham. [Yahoo map
  • Carrboro Plaza - is located at the intersection of Bypass 54 and Business 54 (Main St.) about 2 miles west of downtown Carrboro. [Mapquest]
  • Cedar Falls Park - Located on Weaver Dairy Road in Chapel Hill, approximately 1.5 miles east of Timberlyne Shopping Center. [Yahoo map]
  • Chatham Commons Marketplace - On US 15-501 in Pittsboro, midway between the new US 64 bypass and the circle in downtown Pittsboro.  Look for the watertower with “Chatham Mills” written on it.
  • Chicken Bridge - is in Chatham county. Go west on Highway 54 to Jones Ferry, turn right off Jones Ferry at Frosty's onto Crawford Dairy. Chicken Bridge Rd. is left off of Crawford Dairy. You'll know when you get to the infamous bridge. Park on the far side of the river. [Yahoo map]
  • Churton Grove Shopping Center, Hillsborough - From I-40 or I-85 go north on HI 86 (Churton street) to downtown and turn right onto E. Tryon st. Turn left on St. Mary's Rd. Go I mile and at the light, turn left at HI70. Shopping center on right[Google map].
  • Cole Park Plaza (on 15-501) - 4 miles south of Chapel Hill on US 15-501. [Yahoo map
  • Cycle Center at Broad Street in Durham - Cycle Center bike shop-located beside Whole Foods on Broad St. in Durham, across from Duke's East Campus and Main St.  American Tobacco Trail-At the corner of Blackwell and Moorhead across from The Durham Bulls baseball park and right off the Durham Freeway (147). 
  • Edison Johnson Arts and Athletic Center - is in Durham, on Murray Ave. just west of the Museum of Life and Science. From I85, take Duke Street north and turn right on Murray (follow signs for the Museum). [Yahoo map]
  • Efland-Cheeks Elementary School - from I-40/85, take exit #160 for Efland, head north into Efland. Turn left on Forrest, which will then curve to the right. Turn left onto Rt. 70 and go about 1/2 mile. Turn right on Fuller, the school is directly ahead. Please park in a corner of the lot away from the school entrance. [Map] [Mapquest]
  • ELG Post - A subdivision sign located on Chestnut Ridge Road, 1/2 mile south of the intersection with Borland Road. Park alongside the road. Most everybody parks on Chesnut Ridge Rd where ELG intersects. This is in western Orange County. [Yahoo map
  • Erwin Square Tower - is in Durham, just northeast of Duke's West Campus. It lies between Main Street and Hillsborough Road, west of 9th Street. [Yahoo map]
  • Eubanks Road Park and Ride Lot - is in Orange County north of Carrboro, very near the I40 exit to Highway 86. From I40 turn south on Hwy 86 and almost immediately turn west onto Eubanks. The lot is on your right. [Yahoo map
  • Farrington Boat Ramp at Jordan Lake - Off of Farrington Road in North Chatham County, north of the intersection with Martha Chapel Road. [Yahoo map
  • Fearrington Village - From Chapel Hill, Durham and points north: Get on 15/501 South. Turn left at the light onto Village Way (there'll be a sign for Fearrington Village at the 15/501 intersection). Take second right onto East Camden. Parking lot is the second one on your right. For further information about Fearrington Village, see their web site at www.fearringtonvillage.com.
  • Five Oaks Office Buildings parking lot - On Pine Cone Drive off Farrington Road. [Yahoo map
  • Ford Road and Old Greensboro Road - Take the Jones Ferry Road exit from the NC 54 bypass around Chapel Hill. Turn left if you're coming from Durham/Raleigh, right if you're coming from the west. Go about 1 mile, then turn right onto Old Greensboro Road. Ford Road is ahead 4 miles, on the left. [Mapquest
  • Friday Center - The Friday Center is located on NC 54, between I-40 and Chapel Hill.  From I-40, take exit 273 toward Chapel Hill.  After approx.. 2 miles, look for the Friday Center sign and turn left.  After 1/4 mile, the Friday Center will be on your right. [Yahoo map] [Mapquest
  • Green Hope High School - a new school on Carpenter-Upchurch Rd. From Durham, Chapel Hill take I-40 to NC 55 Take NC 55 towards Apex Turn left off NC 55 at Morrisville-Carpenter Rd. at Carpenter Cross Railroad tracks and turn right on Carpenter-Upchurch Rd. School is about 2 miles on left. From Cary take High House Rd to Carpenter Upchurch Rd. Turn right on Carpenter-Upchurch Rd. School is about 2 miles on right. [Yahoo map]
  • Greenwood Commons - From the intersection of I-40 and NC 55, go south (toward Apex) for about 1 mile. Greenwood Commons shopping center is on the right just before your reach Sedwick Road. If you miss the entrance you can turn right onto Sedwick and enter the shopping center (on your right) via the Sedwick entrance. [Yahoo map
  • Lake Crabtree County Park - Located off of I-40 near the airport. Exit 285 off of I-40, turn south (right if coming from Durham/Chapel Hill, left from Raleigh). The park entrance will be just ahead on left. Mountain bike rides start from the first parking lot on the right (across from the entrance to the trails). Note that the Lake Crabtree trails are closed when they are wet (usually for a few days after a rain). Call 460-3390 for trail status. [Yahoo map
  • Little River Elementary School - in northern Durham off of Snow Hill Road. From Durham, take Roxboro Rd north. Turn right on Old Oxford Rd. Snow Hill Rd branches left after another three miles. [Yahoo map]
  • Maple View Farm Country Store (a.k.a. MVF Ice Cream Shop) - is located on Rocky Ridge Road outside of Carrboro. From the Calvander intersection north of Carrboro, go west on Dairyland Rd. Rocky Ridge Road turns north off Dairyland. Calvander is at the meeting of old 86 running south from Hillsborough, Homestead Rd running west from Chapel Hill, Dairyland, and Hillsborough Rd coming from Carrboro. [Map] [Weekly Specials
  • McDougle Middle School in Carrboro - From Carrboro Plaza, take Old Fayetteville Road north (toward the right), if you’re coming from Chapel Hill). McDougal School is on the right after about ¼ mile.
  • Morrisville Elementary School - on Morrisville Parkway. Morrisville Parkway intersects Davis Drive between High House Road and Morrisville-Carpenter Road in Western Wake county. [Yahoo map]
  • Morrisville Square - just west of the intersection of Church Street and Morrisville-Carpenter Road. From I-40 exit 285 turn right onto Aviation Parkway. Go a few miles, the Square is on the left about ½ mile after crossing the railroad tracks. 
  • Morrisville Town Hall - just west of the intersection of Church Street and Morrisville-Carpenter Road. From I-40 exit 285 turn right onto Aviation Parkway. Go a few miles, the Town Hall is on the right just after crossing the railroad tracks. [Yahoo map]
  • Orange County Superior Courthouse (a.k.a. Hillsborough Superior Courthouse) on Margaret St. in Hillsborough. From I-40 Exit 261 and I-85 Exit 164, turn toward Hillsborough. At the edge of the downtown area, immediately after crossing over the Eno River, turn right on Margaret Street at the next traffic light. Then turn right into the large parking lot. [Yahoo map

  • Piney Woods Park - Take Fayetteville Rd. exit off I-40, north, towards Durham. Turn right on Woodcroft Parkway (east) and go into the park. Please park at the left end of the Piney Woods Park, not near the soccer fields. [Yahoo map
  • Pittsboro Elementary School - From Chapel Hill, take US 15-501 South. At the circle in Pittsboro, take US 64 west. Turn left on NC 902/Goldston Road. Take second left on Elementary School Road, and park in the first parking lot at the school. From Raleigh, take US 64 West, go around the circle to stay on US 64, then turn left on NC 902/Goldston Road, etc etc. 
  • Research Triangle Institute - Take the Durham Expressway (Rt. 147) to the Cornwallis Rd exit. Go SouthEast on Cornwallis Rd (should be a left turn regardless of your direction on the Freeway) towards the IBM entrance, to RTI parking lot at W. Institute Drive, which is the first right. 
  • Rivermont Rd. - Take I-40 West to 15-501 North. From there, take the HWY 751 exit and go West (left) on 751, away from Duke. At the end of 751 take a Right on US70. At the first light on US70 take a Left onto Sparger. Follow Sparger until it ends at Cole Mill Rd, and take a right onto Cole Mill Rd, then an IMMEDIATE LEFT onto Rivermont Rd. Park at or just past the end of pavement on Rivermont Rd. [Yahoo map
  • Ruritan Club in Cedar Grove - Take exit 160 off I-40/85, turn north, and proceed across RR tracks. At the T intersection immediately after the tracks, turn left onto Forrest St (no sign). Follow Forrest around as it becomes Efland-Cedar Grove Road. Follow for approx. 7 miles, where you'll see a sign and parking lot on your left. [Yahoo map
  • Ruritan Club in Efland - Take exit 160 off I-40/I-85, turn north (right if coming from the Triangle), and proceed across RR tracks. At the T intersection immediately after the tracks, turn right onto Forrest St (no sign). Follow Forrest around a left turn, then park in the lot on the left. If you reach US 70, you've gone too far.   • St. Mary's Catholic School (previously Kantner School) - at the corner of St. Mary's and Schley Rd. northeast of Hillsborough. [Mapquest
  • Saxapahaw Post Office - Take NC 54 west of Carrboro for 10 miles. Turn Left on Saxapahaw-Bethlehem Church Rd. Take this for about 4 miles. Parking Lot is on the right, immediately after passing quik-mart in downtown Saxapahaw. Parking lot entrance may be difficult to find. If you cross the bridges, you've gone too far. [Yahoo map
  • Stoneridge Swim & Racquet Club - Located at 6901 Turkey Farm Road, Chapel Hill. Turkey Farm Road is off Whitfield Road, about one mile east of NC 86, near I-40. From points east, take Exit 266 off I-40, go north on NC 86 for about 100 feet, turn right on Whitfield. Go almost one mile, take the second paved left ontoTurkey Farm Rd. Go about .3 mile to parking lot on left.
  • Tarwheel Lane or Tarwheel Alley - I-40 at the New Hope Church Road exit. From Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, take I-40 West (toward Burlington). Take exit 263, then turn right. Turn right again almost immediately onto the first road, then find a parking place along the roadside. [Yahoo map]
  • Umstead City Park - in Chapel Hill is on Umstead Drive between Airport Road (Hwy 86, recently renamed MLK Blvd.) and Estes Drive Extension. This is a bit confusing since Estes Drive Extension, itself, intersects Airport Rd further north. The three roads form a "triangle" with Umstead Drive being the southern edge. [Yahoo map]
  • Union Grove United Methodist Church (a.k.a. Union Grove Church) - is on Union Grove Church Road about 1/4 mile south of Arthur Minnis Road and about 3 miles north of Dairyland Rd. From Carrboro, take Hillsborough Street/Old NC 86 to Dairyland Road, turn left. Then after half a mile, turn right on Union Grove Church Road. The church is ahead three miles on the left. From Durham/Raleigh, take I-40 to exit 263, then turn left on New Hope Church Road. After 3 miles, turn left on Union Grove Church Road. The church is just ahead on the right.   • Wilson Park in Carrboro - Wilson Park is located on Williams Street, just off of N. Greensboro Street in Carrboro. To get there: Take NC 54 bypass around Chapel Hill/Carrboro, then take the Greensboro Street/Merrit Mill/Smith Level Road exit. Turn left on Merrit Mill then go right (north) on Greensboro Street towards Carrboro. Go through 3 stoplights, and turn right on Williams Street (the first right turn after the 3rd light at Estes Drive Extension). [Yahoo map]
